How does WaveLink differ from a MyJobWave subscription?
WaveLink allows companies to post jobs and only pay when they receive qualified candidates, while a subscription to MyJobWave.com is a one time, upfront fee for 90-, 180- or 360-day access.

How is MyJobWave.com's WaveLink different than similar applications from other sites?
WaveLink is designed to deliver qualified applications based on criteria you select for each position. This is not a resume buying service, nor a resume matching service from some database. You only pay for candidates that have correctly answered your filtering questions for the specific job you posted.

I have a lot of jobs. Should I use WaveLink or a subscription?
That will depend on your company's needs. While a subscription may be beneficial for constant recruitment needs, as with traditional job board methods you will still have to filter resumes and respond to applicants on your own. WaveLink will qualify those candidates for you, make initial contact with them (accepted, pending or rejected), and only send you the best. There is no limit to the number of jobs you can create and use/store with WaveLink.

How is the cost of each applicant determined?
The salary for the position creates a base cost per applicant, and you will add filtering questions to qualify candidates. The cost of a question is based on the complexity of the filter. If a question disqualifies a large number of applicants ("Are you fluent in Mandarin Chinese?), then the cost will be much higher than a simpler filter question ("Do you have a valid driver's license?). A higher salary will generate a higher base.

Is there a limit to the number of applications I can request?
The system defaults to 10 applications while you create your job, however you can change this to anywhere from 1-999. Our system will deactivate your job when the number of applications you requested has been reached. This feature allows YOU to create a "cap" on the number of qualified applications you need.

What are my payment options and when do I pay?
We offer both Paypal and Google Checkout for credit card payments, or you can contact an Ad Consultant to discuss billing options at 1-866-657-5444. In either case you are charged/billed weekly for the number of qualified applicants you receive.

Can I cancel the posting before I reach the qualified applications cap?
Yes, you may cancel the posting at any time. You'll only be charged for the qualified applications delivered to date.

Where are the qualified applications and resumes stored?
Applicants and their resumes are stored on MyJobWave.com. You may log back into WaveLink at any time to review.

Where is my WaveLink job(s) stored?
The WaveLink jobs that you create are stored in a separate section of MyJobWave.com, and they can be edited and re-activated at any time. Any posting can also be used as a template for another position, saving you time, typing and editing.

Where will my WaveLink job(s) be distributed?
We distribute MyJobWave.com WaveLink jobs through a network of job boards across the U.S. We'll distribute your WaveLink job as one of their regular postings, at our expense, to thousands of other sites in this network. There is no additional "job distribution" fee for this service. All candidates will need to positively answer your questions to be considered qualified. This added distribution ensures we are delivering the number of qualified applications.

When does my job expire?
All jobs will expire either after 28 days or when they reach your cap.

Will I receive all the applications I request?
We have seen a very high rate of fulfillment. However, if you are requesting a high number of applicants, and your position has multiple filter questions with high requirements, it may be more difficult to provide all of the applications requested within the 28 days.

Will I be notified when the job expires?
We are adding this as an enhancement and it will be available very shortly. An e-mail will be sent when the cap has been reached, or approximately one week before the 28th day after posting when the job naturally expires.

Can I use my own questions and answers?
Our system is designed to use a "Question Library," which allows us to better manage the questions and answers to ensure they are legal. However, we do have three questions that offer "Free Form" (fill in the blank) sections so a company can be quite specific in asking for skills and experience.

Can I edit the questions after I post the position?
Yes, you can edit a job after it has been created and posted. If filtering questions are edited after the initial posting, be aware that it may change the cost of the applicant. If questions are changed, the system sees this as a "new" job. You will be charged for the applications already received at the "old" rate and will be asked to checkout again based on the new rate. Note that you may want to also change the cap number requested for the "new" posting as that will also reset to zero with an edit.

Are the questions in the Question Library legal?
All the question-and-answer options in the Question Library have been reviewed by a labor attorney and are valid for use in the U.S. There is a small possibility that some state or local law may make a question illegal, however the questions have been designed to be generally appropriate for all regions.

What are the "Free Form" questions and how can I best use them?
The "Free Form" questions are Skills Experience, Position Experience, and License/Certifications. These questions allow you to input a certain skill, position title or license name to be attributed to years of experience as an answer.

Can I use a "Free Form" question more than once to test for other skills/experiences?
Yes, these questions can be used multiple times. Each skill or position you add will increase the price of the applicant.
